ROMUALDO AMARAL | FILM DIRECTOR
Becoming a film director has always been my dream. I first stepped into the role while directing Steve’s Catch, an animated short created as my MFA thesis at the Academy of Art University. In 2021, I took that passion further by joining the UCLA Directing Certificate program, where I developed and directed live-action projects like Small as a Pea. This is a look into my journey as a storyteller — where animation and live-action meet through emotion, visual rhythm, and cinematic craft.
